Chennai,\u00a0June 2018<\/strong>:\u00a0\u00a0GEO INDIA FOUNDATION and EVENTS WALK is organizing a mega marathon in Chennai\u00a0\u201cGEO MARATHON\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0An awareness run for clean city and healthy living on 26th<\/sup>\u00a0August 2018 in Chennai\u00a0The\u00a0marathon\u00a0is planned at Besant Nagar\u00a0and the event is conducted to spread awareness about clean city.<\/p>\n

The GEO marathon is a half-Marathon and has two phases the first one, the trail run is on 24th<\/sup>\u00a0June and the final marathon is scheduled on 26th<\/sup>august 2018, that encourage not just trained athletes but also families and younger ones to participate.<\/p>\n

Event ambassador for the Geo marathon 2018 is Tamil Thalaivas team Pro kabaddi league Mr.C.Arun ( Defender – Indian Kabbadi Player ) and Mr.K Prapanjan ( Raider – Indian Kabbadi Player ) are\u00a0pleased to be associated with the event. \u201cI am very happy to be part of this great Marathon. Obviously it\u2019s not my sport, but I have been running some marathons myself and know how it feels.,\u201d said Arun.<\/p>\n

GEO INDIA Foundation wants to create awareness of clean cause, with the general public participation \u2013 by doing cleanup activities of water bodies in Chennai. \u201cEvery citizen has the right to have clean environment. It is essential to uplift the citizens to the normal life with cleanliness. This event will bring awareness among citizens, the necessity of clean environment\u201d said Priya, Co-founder Geo India Foundation.<\/p>\n
