SRM Institute of Science and Technology has been actively involving in the \u201cSwachh Bharat Summer Internship 2018<\/strong>\u201d launched by the HRD ministry of GOI across the county effective from 01.05.2018 following the valuable guidance of the Prime Minister of India.<\/p>\n

386 Students from Engineering, Medical and Paramedical faculties of SRM \u00a0group institutions have enrolled under the above internship Programme and selected their favourite Villages to undertake the Swachh Bharat activities .Being summer vacation. the students of this group institute hailing from various parts the country have selected the villages nearly their home town in their native districts and states \u00a0and started working there.<\/p>\n

The interns have created awareness among the Students and General Public about \u201cSwachh Bharat India\u201d mission by depicting murals about sanitation and eradication of Open defecation; dance Programmes, speeches and group discussions.<\/p>\n

The SRM Institute has sponsored plant saplings to create awareness about tree plantationsand constructed a common Toilet for the use of Students in the school premises of Orathur Village.<\/p>\n
