SRM Institute of Science and Technology has been actively involving in the \u201cSwachh Bharat Summer Internship 2018<\/strong>\u201d for the past two months and students from all streams of this institution took part in the project in many villages of Kanchipuram Districts.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0 students of SRM Pharmacy college has organized \u201cSwachh Bharat Internship Programme \u201cin KURUVANMEDU village of Kattankulathur Union from 27\/06\/2018 and actively participated in the Swachh activities every day.<\/p>\n

The activities include:<\/p>\n

1.Door to door canvassing<\/p>\n

2.Street cleaning<\/p>\n

    1. Wall paintings to promote Swachh plans<\/li>\n
    2. Tree planting activities<\/li>\n
    3. Conducting medical camp<\/li>\n
    4. Competition among school children for SWACHH BHARAT<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      9.Cleaning the local library building surrounding<\/p>\n

      They also guided the village people to maintain hygiene and cleanliness.The valedictory function of the above programmed was held today (11.07.2018) in the above Village.<\/p>\n

      Thiru,M.S.M.Vallavan,DSP Vandalur was the chief Guest and spoken about the importance of the projects and the effective involvement of students. He enquired the school children what they learnt from the Programme. The children informed that they learnt about ODF and separate toilet for each home. The Guest was happy over the reach of Swachh among children, which would also reach their parents.<\/p>\n

      Mr.V.Thirumurugan, Associate Director (cl) of SRM Institute of Science & Technology and Nodal Officer for Swachh Bharat Summer Internship 2018 gave special address.<\/p>\n

      Prof.K.S.Lakshmi,Dean,SRM Pharmacy College and Prof.V.Chitra ,Vice Principal of SRM pharmacy College felicitated the function.<\/p>\n
