The 12th<\/sup> edition of Aaruush, the National Level Techno-Management Fest was grandly inaugurated today at Dr. T.P Ganesan Auditorium, SRM Institute of Science and Technology with nearly 2500 enthusiastic students. Aaruush 2018 which was led by a team of 32 organizers, began with the lighting of the lamp. Welcome Address given by the Secretary of Aaruush \u201918, Animesh Verma, where he enlightened the audience\u00a0 about the journey of Aaruush so far including the pre Aaruush events. Thereafter, the student Joint Secretary, Anmol Misra delivered the Aaruush report. The luminaries who graced the occasion included Shri A.S Kiran Kumar, Chief Guest of the day and Rear Admiral Alok Bhatnagar, Guest of Honour.<\/p>\n

It was the perfect way to begin Aaruush symbolizing its name, the first ray of sunshine, spreading the light of knowledge, passion, creativity and innovative thinking. The guests present included Dr. Sandeep Sancheti,Vice Chancellor- SRM, Prof. N Sethuraman, Registrar; Dr. C Muthamizchelvan, Director of E&T and Dr. T. Mythili, Director Student Affairs. A heartfelt gratitude was then extended towards the financial advisor, Dr. V. M. Ponniah and Associate Director Dr. V. Thirumurugan.<\/p>\n

The convener of Aaruush, Dr. A. Rathinam elucidated on the significance of the tag line of Aaruush, \u201cHarmonizing dreams, Inspiring ingenuity\u201d and it\u2019s relevance in the 12th<\/sup> edition of this brainchild of 4 visionaries who were responsible for its inception 12 years ago. The chief guest then motivated the audience with his words of wisdom followed by the guest of honor who left everyone in awe with his speech. Shri Suresh Prabhu, the Minister of Commerce and Industry and Civil Aviation, congratulated and wished team Aaruush through a video. Another clipping was played to inspire students about research and development from the IEEE Director Mr. Vincenzo Piuri.Aaruush Main Video was released which is the preview of all events, guest lectures, workshops, expos that await the participants into the four days fest.<\/p>\n
