The screenplay is set in a post-apocalyptic\u00a0steam punk\u00a0world where entire cities have been mounted on wheels and motorized, and prey on one another.<\/p>\n

Hundreds of years after civilization was destroyed by a cataclysmic event, a mysterious young woman, Hester Shaw (Hera Hilmar), emerges as the only one who can stop London \u2014 now a giant, predator city on wheels \u2014 from devouring everything in its path.<\/p>\n

Tom Natsworthy (Robert Sheehan) is a sixteen-year-old Londoner who has only ever lived inside his travelling hometown, and his feet have never touched grass, mud or land. His first taste of the outside comes quite abruptly!<\/p>\n

Tom gets in the way of the masked Hester’s attempt to kill Thaddeus Valentine (Hugo Weaving), a powerful man she blames for her mother\u2019s murder, and both Hester and Tom end up thrown out of the moving “traction” city, to fend for themselves, all of their own!<\/p>\n

Feral, and fiercely driven by the memory of her\u00a0mother, Hester joins forces with Tom Natsworthy (Robert Sheehan), who is actually an outcast from London, along with Anna Fang (Jihae), a dangerous outlaw with a bounty on her head.<\/p>\n

Peter Jackson director of films as King Kong, The Lord of the Rings series, The Hobbit series etc has co-produced this film.<\/p>\n
