A potential organ alert was received by the team at Fortis Malar. A team of harvesting doctors were sent to Tirunelveli Government Hospital for assessment of the organ. Post preliminary assessment, the heart was harvested by Fortis Malar doctors to a patient diagnosed with DCM (Dilated cardiomyopathy).<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/faceinews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Faceinews-Logo-Copy.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7654\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7654\" src=\"http:\/\/faceinews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Faceinews-Logo-Copy.png\" alt=\"Faceinews Logo - Copy\" width=\"173\" height=\"43\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>The organ was harvested from a 35 year old male in Tirunelveli who had met with a road accident and was declared brain dead.
