Chennai experienced the biggest two days exhibition of the season \u2013\u00a0The Madras Mela<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0February 8th<\/sup>\u00a0and 9th<\/sup>\u00a02019\u00a0<\/strong>at Buva House, KNK Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai. The 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0edition of Madras Mela was a\u00a0lifestyle weekend in Chennai adorned with world class designs, accessories, food, entertainment and much more well curated experiences for the best of Chennai.<\/p>\n

Ranging from clothing to skincare and wellness, the expo will feature some of most popular brands and companies Hungrezi, Peeyesyem Hyundai, Singapore Ice cream, Hot Oven, Arcadio, Mouve, Snob, BBQ Bike, Dione, Butterfly Beauty Bliss, Anjum Caf\u00e9,\u00a0Wayyo Private Limited, Antway Fashions, Famberry Jams and many other brands from all over the country.<\/p>\n

Madras Mela took this occasion to launch \u201cAnmol<\/strong>\u201d owned by Anandita Sundar, daughter of the celebrity couple Khushboo and Sundar. C along with a workshop. Anmol means unique- hence, we are looking forward to come up with a beauty line for people of all skin types, and maybe a fashion line for all body types. Most importantly, the revenue that we are looking forward to receive are baby steps towards the NGO. \u201cAnmol started out as a dream, and it still feels like one. A dream come true. When my now-partner approached me, we had a small vision. But as we spoke, it turned bigger and bigger and bigger till a thought came to us- \u2018are we too young, too inexperienced for this?\u2019 But we didn\u2019t back down. We refused to let society\u2019s norms push us back. \u2018We\u2019re passionate,\u2019 we thought, \u2018we love what we\u2019re doing, we\u2019re going to work as hard as we can, and in the end, it\u2019s going to work out just how we imagined it to. Our age won\u2019t matter\u201d, says Anandita Sundar, Founder ANMOL.<\/p>\n

We had the evergreen Actress Kushboo, Nirja Malik & Seema Ahmad as chief guests for the launch. Post the launch Anandita Sundar conducted the workshop\u00a0called Everyday Glam about fresh and natural looks and on the 9th of February the workshop called Party Glam for party and bold looks will be conducted. A huge part of the profit from the tickets will go towards charities and NGOs.<\/p>\n
