\u201cNo Drugs in Sports and Life\u201d says the Chief Guest Mr. S. Siva, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Guduvanchery, in his inaugural address during the SRM VEC Foundation Day Trophy 2019 in SRM Valliammai Engineering College, Kattankulathur on 4th September 2019.<\/p>\n

\nTo commemorate the 20th year of the foundation day of SRM Valliammai Engineering College. SRM VEC Foundation Day Trophy 2019-State Level Inter School Ball Badminton (Boys & Girls) Tournament was organized on 4th & 5th September 2019 at Valliammai Sports Complex.
\nIn the inaugural function, Dr.N.Ganapathy, Director of Physical Education, welcomed the gathering. Dr. T.P. Ganesan, Director, SRMVEC & Pro Vice Chancellor Planning and Development SRM Institute of Science and Technology felicitated the Chief Guest, Dr. B. Chidhambararajan, Principal, presented the presidential address.<\/p>\n

\nTotally 290 students participated from all over Tamil Nadu. The match was conducted by knockout cum league system.
\nDuring the valedictory function, Dr. T.P. Ganesan, Director, SRMVEC & Pro Vice Chancellor Planning and Development, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, presented the trophies, cash prizes and certificates to the top four boys and girls teams. In Boys section the first, second, third and four prizes won by Govt. HR. Sec. School, Ponparapi, Hindu HR. Sec. School, Watrap, TA. HR. Sec. School, Thiruvidaimaruthur and Govt. Hr. School, Ennore respectively. In Girls Section the first, second, third and four prizes won by OCPM Madurai, St. Therasa, Pallavaram, Govt. School, Ennore and Lady Sivasamy Mylapur respectively. The prizes were distributed in the presence of Principal, Dr. B. Chidhambararajan and Dr.M.Murugan, Vice Principal.
