International standard of hospitals, expert doctors, quality and affordable costs, availability of latest technologies are some of the key factors that put the State of Tamil Nadu on top of healthcare services.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/faceinews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Photo-1-921x614.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-16710\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16710\" src=\"http:\/\/faceinews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Photo-1-921x614.jpg\" alt=\"Photo 1-921x614\" width=\"921\" height=\"614\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.faceinews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Photo-1-921x614.jpg 921w, https:\/\/www.faceinews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Photo-1-921x614-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.faceinews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Photo-1-921x614-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 921px) 100vw, 921px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nTamil Nadu Government has recently signed a MoU with World Bank for Rs 3000 Crore and with JICA for Rs 1684 Crore for the Tamil Nadu Healthcare system reform program which will further improve the healthcare facilities in the State, said Dr Vijaya Baskar.<br \/>\nIn his Theme address, Dr S Chandrakumar, Convenor, CII Tamilnadu Task Force on Health Tourism said, \u201cIndia holds 20% of the medical travel value market globally with a growth of 16-18% year on year and Government of India also acknowledged the medical travel is the important source of foreign exchange.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/faceinews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Photo-3-921x614.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-16711\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16711\" src=\"http:\/\/faceinews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Photo-3-921x614.jpg\" alt=\"Photo 3-921x614\" width=\"921\" height=\"614\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.faceinews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Photo-3-921x614.jpg 921w, https:\/\/www.faceinews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Photo-3-921x614-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.faceinews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/Photo-3-921x614-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 921px) 100vw, 921px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Last year 5,00,000 medical travel visas has been provided in India and people from neighbouring countries like Africa, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh visited india particularly Tamil nadu for medical services added Dr Chandra Kumar.<br \/>\nIn his welcome address, Mr S Chandramohan, Chairman, CII Tamil Nadu said that the revenue generated through medical tourism will double in Tamil Nadu in the coming years. Technology in healthcare will bring down the cost and the affordability of healthcare services added Mr Chandramohan.<br \/>\nIn his special address, Mr S Ganesh IAS, Director, Indian Medicine and Homeopathy said, Tamil Nadu has 150 wellness centres to cater the needs of the Non communicable diseases and around 2 Crore people are visiting the wellness centres.
