He takes the mantle from outgoing Chairman Mr A.K. Rath. Mr Mukerji is Group Director, Strategic Procurement, of Tata Steel.<\/p>\n<p>He is a Bachelor of Arts from Calcutta University and has completed management programs from IIM-A and INSEAD, France. Mr Mukerji has over 32 years of experience in Tata Steel. Thereafter, he has worked in various divisions of the company including International Trade and Shipping and Logistics.
