\nCURTAIN RAISER -Each human is blessed with a special talent in one form or the other! Dolittle is one such human being who is blessed with the unique talent of being able to talk to animals! This is a fantasy adventure comedy based on the character Doctor Dolittle created by Hugh Lofting as a series of stories for children! The 1st movie, Doctor DoLittle (1967) had Rex Harrison in the title role while Eddie Murphy depicted the title role in the 1998 film of the same name as well as in its sequel Dr. Dolittle 2 (2001). But Doctor Dolittle 3 (2006) has a female lead, Kyla Pratt in the title role! Here, in this newest version, Robert Downey Jr. appears as Dolittle.<\/p>\n

SYNOPSIS \u2013 Ever since he lost his wife 7 years earlier, Doctor Dolittle has been living a secluded life within the walls of his Dolittle Manor with only animals for company! At England, young Queen, Jessie Buckley is seriously ill & the services of Dr. Dolittle the veteran veterinarian are sought! Though he is not very keen to accept the assignment, Dolittle has no choice but to set sail on an epic adventure in search of a cure to a mysterious & mystical island! During his journey, not only does he meet his old enemies but also some wondrous creatures! He is joined by Tommy Stubbins (Harry Collett) with a view to assist Dolittle besides a bunch of animal-friends \u2013a Gorilla (Rami Malek, voice cast!), a Duck (Octavia Spencer), an Ostrich (Kumail Nanjiani), a Polar Bear (John Cena) & a Parrot (Emma Thompson).
\nHow Dolittle accomplishes mission is the adventure-ridden, fun-filled rest!<\/p>\n
