Chennai, 8th<\/sup>\u00a0March:\u00a0<\/strong>LOTTE India celebrated the spirit of womanhood with their women employees and wives of employees at the Lotte Chocopie Factory\u00a0here in Chennai today to commemorate the International Women\u2019s day 2020.\u00a0As part of the celebration,\u00a0an interactive session was conducted with\u00a0Dr Saundarya Rajesh, Social Entrepreneur, Founder \u2013 President, Avtar Group<\/strong>\u00a0on \u2018How women could be empowered and motivated to pursue their careers and ambitions by aiming for work-life integration\u2019.\u00a0<\/strong>More than 70 women took part in this event. The\u00a0session focused on\u00a0highlighting the ways in which men can be \u201cAllies\u201d in women\u2019s careers by way of mentoring, coaching and sponsoring women colleagues in order for them realize to their fullest potential.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the occasion, Dr Saundarya Rajesh, said,\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>\u201cAs we move towards creating gender balanced workplaces, male ally ship is fundamentally required in the career continuity of women professionals. In our research at Avtar, we have observed that the motivational role that male leaders play in the careers of women yield long and lasting results in an organization. From being a passive supporter to a role model, to a career coach to a sponsor, male allies can have a highly positive influence in achieving gender parity at workplaces.<\/em><\/p>\n
