Chennai, 6th<\/sup> March 2021: There was great expectation in the air with the question on everyone\u2019s lips being \u2018who will be this year\u2019s Youth Icon?\u2019 Contestants and guests, including celebrities trooped in to enjoy an evening of glitz and glamour as the 10TH<\/sup><\/p>\n

edition of \u201cFace of Chennai\u201d got underway.<\/p>\n

The Grand Finale of IRIS Face of Chennai 2021 took place on the 6th<\/sup> of March (Saturday) at The Grand by GRT Hotels. Face of Chennai is an annual event that seeks to identify complete beauty,\u00a0talent, personality and positive attitude in young men and women aged between\u00a018 -26 years. The prime target audience comprises college students and working professionals aspiring for careers in modelling and acting. The event is being conducted for 10th<\/sup> consecutive years having been first launched in 2012.<\/p>\n

Latha Krishna of IRIS EVENTS, the originator of the concept has this to say about IRIS Face of Chennai 2021, \u201cThis year’s contest saw an enthusiastic response with\u00a0over 500\u00a0contestants auditioned in the\u00a0first level with 100 of these shortlisted for the second level. The contestants went through an intensive workshop conducted\u00a0by IRIS Glam where they were instructed in Styling, Ramp Walk Techniques, Make-over and Personal Branding. Of these, 38 contestants were shortlisted to participate in the Grand Finale.\u201d<\/p>\n

The event is an initiative of IRIS team and IRIS Glam powered by Naturals \u2013 Training Future Stars. The show started off with a welcome dance by Ms Srilatha followed by a thematic Fashion Show choreographed by Sanjay Asrani. Mr Munaf Rahman \u2013 Mr Face of Chennai 2017 winner, an actor and model enthralled the audience by his dance performance. The event was well attended by celebrities and noted personalities from all walks of life.<\/p>\n

The winners were crowned by our celebrity guests \u2013 \u00a0Actor Aditya Menon, Munaf (former Face of Chennai winner) Zee TV Famous Actors Jai Akash , Reshma & Miss Namitha Ammu<\/p>\n

Ms. Kiran Gulzar (Software Professional) was crowned as the winner of Ms. Iris Face of Chennai 2021<\/strong>, Ms. Muskaan Bhandari (student) was 1st runner up & Ms. Madhumita R.S (IT Profession) was 2nd runner up.<\/p>\n

Mr. Rameez Meeran T (Software Professional). was crowned as the winner of Mr. Iris Face of Chennai 2021,<\/strong> Mr. Hemanth Pareek (Professional Banker) was 1st runner up & Mr. Ajith Raja R (Beat Boxer) was 2nd runner up.<\/p>\n
