Selvarasu IAS recently (on 21st February 2023) on the occasion of World Mother Tongue Day celebrations held at SIET College, Chennai.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Every year, the Government of Tamil Nadu\u2019s Department of Tamil Development motivates Tamil authors by selecting the best books by giving them prizes. Ramkumar Singaram\u2019s book, \u201cNeengal Yen Innum Kodeeswarar Aagavillai?\u201d was selected under the self-help book category comprising titles that were released in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He was awarded a Certificate and a cheque for Rs.30,000. Puratchi Thalaivar MGR\u2019s Thaai Publications Private Ltd which had published the book was awarded a Certificate and a cheque for Rs.10,000.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The event featured Dr. N. Arul &#8211; Director of the Department of Tamil Development, Dr. R. Chandrasekaran &#8211; Director for Central Institute of Classical Tamil and famous Orator Prof. Dr. Parveen Sultana, Tamil Dept, SIET College.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This is Ramkumar Singaram\u2019s seventh book. He currently features on Kalaignar TV in the program, \u201cKatralum, Karpithalum&#8221;.
