ROCKWOOL charts new growth path in India with ambitious venture near Chennai<\/p>\n

ROCKWOOL to build new factory near Chennai, meeting increasing demand for non-combustible stone wool insulation and expanding its presence in fast-growing South Asia market.<\/p>\n

CHENNAI, 22 August 2024: Today ROCKWOOL announced it will build a new factory located in Cheyyar, 90 km from Chennai in the southern state of Tamil Nadu. ROCKWOOL plans to invest \u20b9550 Crores and expects to create job opportunities for more than 150 people in the local communities. The new factory will produce ROCKWOOL\u2019s non-combustible, recyclable, and long-lasting stone wool insulation. Start of operations is expected in Q1 2026<\/p>\n
