The female centric movie is a remake of critically acclaimed Nil Battey Sanatta (Hindi).<\/p>\n<p>Ashwini Iyer, who made the original Hindi version, has also directed the remake, which has veteran actress Revathi and National award winning Samuthirakani in important roles.<\/p>\n<p>Amala Paul is playing the mother of a teenage girl (14-year-old) in Amma Kanakku, a film produced by Dhanush.
