Clearly, the Audi R8 is a car with motorsport in its genes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Performance to the Extreme<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A <strong>5.2 FSI Mid mounted engine<\/strong>, with <strong>610 hp<\/strong> (449 kW) and maximum torque of 560 Nm, the all-new Audi R8 V10 plus accelerates in a mere <strong>3.2\u00a0seconds from 0 to 100 km\/h<\/strong>\u00a0 and keeps going to its <strong>maximum speed of 330 km\/h<\/strong>. The sound of the freely aspirated engine, whose maximum torque is available at 6,500 rpm, has become even fuller and sharper.<\/p>\n<p>Every part of the all-new R8 is designed to give the best possible performance at all times. The <strong>seven-speed S tronic\u00ae transmission<\/strong> delivers gear changes within hundredths of a second and with virtually no break in acceleration. At the touch of a button, <strong>Audi Drive Select<\/strong> lets you adjust the Audi R8\u2019s configuration by matching the ride dynamic to the friction coefficient of the road.
