\"Coach<\/a>Chennai, 17th<\/sup> August 2016: <\/strong>Chettinad Apparels, a business venture from the house of Tamil Nadu\u2019s largest conglomerate Chettinad Group, today launched the identity of its Cricket team \u2013 \u2018Karaikudi Kaalai\u2019. \u00a0The vivacious launch activity at Rani Seethai Hall witnessed the grand unveiling of the team\u2019s majestic logo, jersey and the anthem by Mr. Rajamani Muthuganesan, Team Owner – Karaikudi in the presence of Mr. L Sivaramakrishnan, team members and other Senior Management of Chettinad group.<\/p>\n

Backed by Coach Mr. Robin Singh and \u201cMr. Dependable\u201d, Captain S. Badrinath, the team is all set to contest in the much awaited magnum opus, Tamil Nadu Premier League 2016.<\/p>\n

\"Karaikudi<\/a>Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Rajamani Muthuganesan, Team Owner – Karaikudi<\/em><\/strong>, said, \u201cThis is the first of its initiative in the history of Chettinad Group. We believe that we have a right mix of talent in our team and I wish everyone all the success.\u201d<\/p>\n

Team identity<\/strong><\/p>\n

Designed in vibrant hues of blue and green, the team name is inspired by the raging bulls of \u2018Jallikattu\u2019 sport, a tradition deep rooted in Tamil culture.\u00a0 Donning the majestic Kaalai, the logo has been carefully curated to represent the unparalleled spirit of the players. The raging bull in the logo coupled with the eccentric colors pillar the tag line of the team, \u201cModhi Paakalama<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n

The official team anthem penned and composed by Mr. Krishna Iyer, is set in the architecturally rich Karaikudi district, celebrating the various cultural pillars of the town. The anthem is a perfect rendition of the team\u2019s high spirits and true sportsmanship.<\/p>\n

The vivaciously designed team jersey was unveiled by coach, Mr. Robin Singh and was received by Mr. S. Badrinath.<\/p>\n

Team Players<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Karaikudi team has a balanced mix of state, national and international players along with emerging players from the district level. \u00a0The team will be coached by Mr. Robin Singh and his special fitness team.
