New Delhi, July 4, 2017:<\/strong> In its endeavor to connect talent with right career opportunities, Graduate Management Admission Council today announced the commencement of registrations for NMAT by GMAC. Running in its third year the registrations are now formally open from July 4, 2017 to October 14, 2017. This year the registration process has been made further more candidate friendly with new features like \u2018multiple login methods\u2019 and \u2018additional payment options\u2019. Commenting on the launch Vikram Shah, Director, Product Management, GMAC said, \u201cGMAC has always focused on the candidate\u2019s test taking experience. NMAT by GMAC is the standardized GME test in India and offers a lot of benefits to the candidates to give them convenience and build their confidence in their journey for the management education in India. With the expanded test center network and the new features like the prep diagnostic report candidates will benefit immensely to pursue the management career of their choice through the NMAT by GMAC scores.\u201d
\nMr. Gaurav Srivastava, Regional Director, South Asia, GMAC said, \u201cOver the years we have been seeing an increase in demand for the NMAT by GMAC exam amongst candidates which has resulted in a 17% growth in registration numbers. This year the NMAT by GMAC exam is going to go global by launching across four international locations. We believe that this will help the candidates from these countries the opportunity to apply to Indian schools that are using the NMAT by GMAC exam and they can take the test in their home country and need not travel to India to take the test.<\/p>\n

4 International Test Centres
\nTo further widen its reach, NMAT by GMAC has been made available in Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh to boost diversity in classrooms.<\/p>\n

Multiple login methods
\nFurther simplifying the registration process, NMAT by GMAC has introduced the multiple login options for candidates. Considering the increased adoption of social media tools, candidates will be able to register for NMAT by GMAC through Google, Facebook etc . The candidates will be able to use the auto generated One Time Password and even last year\u2019s credentials to login and register for the exam.<\/p>\n

Additional payment options
\nCandidates can now proceed with their payments through International credit card, UPI among other methods<\/p>\n

20 new test centres in India
\nIn order to ensure increased access and ease of students, 20 new test centers have been launched in India<\/p>\n

Exclusive loan offers from HDFC Credila
\nQualifying students can avail customized loan offers from HDFC Credila for their management studies<\/p>\n

The students will have to appear for three sections \u2013 Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning. All the sections are individually timed with total time of 120 minutes. Candidates can write the exam from 55 conveniently located test centres in 35 cities in India.
\nAspirants can appear three times for NMAT by GMAC in a year\u2019s testing period and can reschedule their exam by visiting the official website of the exam over 75 days testing period.
\nThe exam allows a candidate to choose the order in which he\/she would like to respond to each of the sections on the test and self schedule the test date, time and location based on the availability of seats at each test centre. Aspirants can also register for the exam through their mobile.<\/p>\n

NMAT by GMAC exam registered 17% growth in its test registration in 2016. Total registrations closed at 82,928 in 2016 compared to 70,950 in 2015.<\/p>\n

\nXavier School of Sustainability \u2013 Bhubaneswar, Xavier Faculty of management (Urban Management & Governance) \u2013 Bhubaneswar, MISB Bocconi, ICFAI Business School (IBS), Hyderabad and other locations, Shiv Nadar University, Alliance University, VIT University, Amity University, Thapar School of Management, Woxsen School of Business Management, University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES), GITAM School of International Business, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad Business School, GITAM University, SRM University, BML Munjal University and Mody University.<\/p>\n

NMAT by GMAC
\nThe Graduate Management Admission Council\u00ae (GMAC\u00ae) assumed ownership and management of the NMAT exam in India from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) in 2015. The exam has been retitled as the NMAT by GMAC\u2122. Given the opportunity Indian management education marketplace offers, the step was taken to further build the study of management education locally, regionally and globally, and to make admissions accessible and successful for more candidates.<\/p>\n
