Chennai 7th<\/sup>\u00a0August 2017:<\/strong>\u00a0South India Fashion Awards (SIFA) is the biggest fashion awards in the South that is aimed at acknowledging and awarding the best icons in fashion and related segments across South India. SIFA will also feature a fashion show showcasing the collections of our award-winning designers. SIFA is conceptualized and produced by\u00a0Ajit Menon Trendz<\/strong>. The event will take place on the 20th<\/sup>\u00a0of August, 7:00pm onwards at the Le Royal Meridien, Chennai.<\/p>\n

\"Sneha<\/a>The pre-announcement of the event happened on 7th\u00a0<\/sup>of August\u00a0at Max store, Forum Vijaya mall\u00a0introducing the\u00a0advisory council for the event. The list includes eminent personalities like Ajit Menon \u2013 Fashion Choreographer and Event Director for SIFA, Aruna R Krishnan \u2013 Managing Editor of Ritz; South Scope and Galatta; Fashion Designer Chaitanya Rao \u2013 Fashion Designer, Vijay Adiraj -Actor, Director and Media personality, and actor Shanthanu Bhagyaraj.<\/p>\n

\"Swapna\"<\/a>Speaking on the occasion Mr. Ajit Menon, Promoter, SIFA, \u201cThis is my twentieth year in the fashion industry and SIFA has been a dream project of mine where I would like to give back something to the industry that I really love. I always felt that south India has been in the shadow of the fashion industry in Mumbai and Delhi. Hence I conceptualized SIFA which would be a platform to meet, greet and to award the best talents from the South, all on one stage.\u00a0 The categories would cover models, designers, photographers, stylist, make-up artists, hair stylists and fashion icons from the film industry. The gala event will also feature an exquisite fashion show featuring garments from the award-winning designers as well as our title sponsor, Max\u201d.<\/p>\n

Following the event\u00a0Max, India\u2019s largest fashion brand launched its Autumn collection by a magnificent fashion show.
