\"LIBA-RNTBCI-4\"<\/a>Chennai, 16th<\/sup>\u00a0August 2017:\u00a0<\/strong>Renault Nissan Technology and Business Centre India (RNTBI) today joined hands with India\u2019s prominent management institute, Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) to offer a Certificate Program in Automotive Quality Management. With the automotive industry at the brim of technological advancement, the certificate program aims to further enhance the skill set of working executive in the automotive related businesses and instill in them the global quality mindset.<\/p>\n

The Indian Automotive Industry is witnessing exponential growth and accounts for\u00a0nearly7.1% of the country\u2019s GDP. Keeping this in mind, the program aims to further fuel the growth of the industry by training executives in manufacturing excellence practices like Lean thinking, TQM, TPM, Six sigma and Kaizen. Aligned with the central government\u2019s \u2018Make in India\u2019 initiative, the comprehensive training program is aimed at enhancing quality skills by offering the participants an opportunity to experience different Manufacturing Excellenceconcepts that can be applied to build a World class organization.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the partnership,\u00a0Fr. P.Christie SJ, Director \u2013 LIBA<\/em><\/strong>, said \u201cThe Automotive Industry in India is one of the fastest growing industriesbrimming with numerous opportunities. Quality is the key to be successful in this highly competitive industry. RNTBCI is\u00a0interested in creating a quality mindset and LIBA is happy to associate with RNTBCI to design and deliver the programme\u201d .<\/p>\n

Adding to this,\u00a0Mr. Krishnan Sundarrajan, Managing Director \u2013 RNTBCI<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0said \u201cIt is a privilege to be associated with a leading management institute LIBA to launch a program that is very close to our heart. LIBA and RNTBCI have worked cohesively to develop the curriculum for this program for emerging quality professionals. The participation for the course has increased three folds and we currently have 50 industry professionals who are engaged in this program.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cRenault Nissan is a leading automotive provider in India and we have to attribute this to our strong network of supplier community and employees. Today, this partnership with LIBA through this course has given us direct access to our suppliers and we are indeed grateful for that.\u00a0 We are currently at 6% market share and we are working really hard to increase this share to 10% in the near future. To progress in this path, we will be taking inspiration from LIBA\u2019s principle of Excellence and Ethics. Our recent initiative, Nissan Connect is an example of ethics and our sustained quality standards and returning customers is excellence for our business.\u201d added Mr. Sundarrajan.<\/p>\n

Spread across 18 months, the first batch of weekend classes had an overwhelming intake of 50 members, who are currently employed in automotive companies.\u00a0 As part of this program LIBA will offer support in terms of infrastructure and faculty resource to train the participants.\u00a0 The course starts from 5th<\/sup>\u00a0August 2017 at LIBA Campus.<\/p>\n
