IT applications of five government departments\/PSUs in each category were shortlisted by the CVC, and the winners were awarded by the Vice President of India, Mr Venkaiah Naidu.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/faceinews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Faceinews-Logo-Copy.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7654\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7654\" src=\"http:\/\/faceinews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/Faceinews-Logo-Copy.png\" alt=\"Faceinews Logo - Copy\" width=\"173\" height=\"43\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Department of Telecom (DoT) bagged the second prize (Excellence) in the category \u201cIT initiatives to ensure transparency in the organisation\u201d for \u201cTransparency in e-auction of spectrum in 2016\u201d.<\/strong> The spectrum e-auction is conducted by mjunction since 2015 on behalf of DoT.<\/p>\n<p><strong>mjunction, India\u2019s largest B2B ecommerce company,<\/strong> won a three year mandate from DoT to conduct spectrum auction. The 2015 and 2016 spectrum auctions have been conducted by mjunction on their indigenous developed software platform for DoT.
