The merger is\u00a0subject to all necessary regulatory and\u00a0board approvals.\u00a0Investors can continue to access the fund as normal and no action is required from existing investors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Jonathan Schiessl, Chief Investment Officer (International), Ashburton Investments,<\/strong>\u00a0who has been managing the Ashburton India Equity Opportunities Fund since its launch in 2012, will continue to manage the merged fund.\u00a0 He will join IIFL AMC as CIO and Lead Fund Manager of the merged fund with Swati Jain joining as Head: Institutional Sales to continue distribution of the strategy to international investors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Commenting on the development,\u00a0<strong>Jonathan Schiessl,<\/strong>\u00a0said, \u201cWe are very excited about this development and I expect the fund to grow from strength to strength following this agreement.
