Chennai, 19th<\/sup>\u00a0February 2018:<\/strong>\u00a0Tamil Nadu\u2019s latest entrant in the general entertainment space, COLORS Tamil channel as part of its star studded launch donated Rs. 30 Lakhs to Nadigar Sangam Charitable Trust. The donation cheque was received by the association\u2019s General Secretary Vishal in the presence of other executive committee\u00a0members and senior artists from the Tamil Film industry. The donation by COLORS Tamil was handed over to the committee with an aim to offer the right support system for retried cinema artists from the industry.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the occasion,\u00a0Mr. Anup Chandrasekharan, Business Head \u2013 COLORS Tamil<\/em><\/strong>, said \u201cAs we kick-start our journey in Tamil Nadu, it gives us immense happiness to join hands with South Indian Artist Association and offer the right support system for the retired cinema artists. Our aim is to join hands with Nadigar Sangam on a long term and undertake sustained initiatives to help the retired artists\u2019 community on a continuous basis. We are confident that our contribution will be a great value add for the efforts undertaken by Nadigar Sangam\u2019s for the betterment of cinema artists.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adding to this,\u00a0Actor Vishal, General Secretary- Nadigar Sangam<\/em><\/strong>, said \u201cWe are delighted to welcome Viacom18 to Tamil Nadu and wish them luck in their journey with COLORS Tamil channel. With this contribution, COLORS Tamil has indeed brought colors into many people\u2019s lives. This will definitely help and support many, many talented artists even after their retirement from business. The star-studded launch program,\u00a0\u201cIdhu Nammu Coloru\u201d\u00a0<\/em>of COLORS Tamil will be broadcast on 19th<\/sup>\u00a0February 2018 from\u00a07.00 PM<\/span>\u00a0onwards. The original content will be available for viewers starting from 20th<\/sup>\u00a0February 2018.\u00a0 The channel will be available in all\u00a0leading cable networks and on all DTH platforms – Sun Direct, Tata Sky, Airtel, Dish TV and Videocon D2H.<\/p>\n
