The Fortis Urology team comprises of 15 urologist performing 10,000 surgeries, 360 complex urological procedures in a year. The team covers around 15 locations in Karnataka and surrounding states and 7 locations outside India.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As per the research report by\u00a0<\/span>NCBI<\/a><\/span>\u00a0on rural belt of Karnataka, \u2018The population had a mean age of 39.88 \u00b1 15.87 years with 3.82% prevalence of diabetes and 33.62% of hypertension. Researchers found 6.3% prevalence of chronic kidney diseases stage 3; which is the highest reported till date by any Indian worker. It is disturbing to note, the high prevalence of hypertension in a rural setting where over 75% population had normal or low body mass index.\u2019<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
