South India’s largest regional airline — Air Pegasus continues to expand its orbit by launching a flight from Chennai to Bangalore from 20thAugust 2015
“Following the stupendous response by the passengers and the overwhelming patronage by Air Pegasus in the first four months since inception, we have decided to expand our services to rise to the expectations of the new age customer,” said Shyson Thomas, managing director, Air Pegasus.
Connecting to the port city of Chennai will be extremely vital considering the rise in industrial and food processing activity in that region, Thomas said.
The flight will leave Bangalore at 10:25AM and reach Chennai at 11:25 AM and the return flight will depart from Chennai at 11:50 AM and reach Bangalore at 12:50PM.
Chennai will be the new destination to be connected from Bangalore in addition to the existing Hubli, Thiruvananthapuram, Madurai, Mangalore and Kadapa launched since April.
There will be certain seats reserved at an introductory price of Rs 1,234 as has been the practice with every new launch at Air Pegasus, he said.
Based out of the Kempegowda International Airport in Bangalore, Air Pegasus will subsequently scale up its services and has plans to connect Tuticorin, Belgaum, Rajahmundry and Pondicherry on its radar.
