India’s first personal locker for the security of everyday valuables
Chennai, September, 2015: In line with its commitment to deliver intelligent and innovative security offerings, Godrej Security Solutions (GSS) is proud to announce the launch of India’s first personal locker for the security of everyday valuables— Goldilocks. The Godrej group has been shaping the future since 1897 and this is the latest of the slew of innovations that the group has been offering for its consumers for over 118 years.
Today, everyone has a number of daily use items such as daily wear ornaments, wallets, keys, chains, watches, mp3 players, iPods and other similar everyday valuables that are used through the day. According to a study conducted by Godrej Security Solutions, a majority of people have no means of protecting against petty theft of these daily valuables. There is no one specific location where these can be stored together and also be handily retrieved at the same time. The conventional bank lockers and home safes are redundant for this purpose, since they are not easily accessible and are used to store more expensive items.
There is, therefore, a need for a locker which is both portable and provides ease of access and convenience, allowing us to be more organized and keep things in order. This consumer driven insight led GSS to develop Goldilocks, enhanced with vibrant colours and aesthetic appeal.

Breaking away from the general perception that lockers are bulky, Godrej Security Solution has ensured that Goldilocks’ small form factor, unique and stylish design offer both convenience and security. The innovative personal locker is also equipped with a touch-panel access control and a smart sensor that triggers an alarm if someone tries to tamper with it. The touch panel allows customer to set or re-configure password to ensure complete security. It is currently available in white and black metallic colours with a classy finish, to ensure style and functionality for the consumer.
In the near future, the company also plans to unveil a wall-mounted unit that will provide a common space to store everyday valuables for multiple users while still providing individual areas for each person.
