MUKTI CELEBRATES 40 YEARS OF TURNING POSSIBILITIES INTO REALITY

Chennai, 25th August 2026: As Mukti: M.S. Dadha Foundation celebrates 40 years of dedicated service, it continues to stand by a simple yet powerful belief — “Disability should never define a person’s possibilities.”

For four decades, Mukti has been working towards creating a more inclusive society by providing artificial limbs, calipers, physiotherapy and mobility support free of cost to persons with disabilities. Its journey has always been driven by one purpose: to ensure that disability never becomes a barrier to dignity, independence and opportunity.

As part of its 40th year celebrations, Mukti has reached several significant milestones. A Job Fair for its beneficiaries was successfully organised recently, creating opportunities for persons with disabilities to move towards financial independence and a more secure future. During this year, Mukti also conducted rehabilitation and support camps across seven locations, benefiting nearly 800 beneficiaries. Continuing its commitment to mobility and independence, Mukti has been conducting monthly wheelchair distributions for 100 beneficiaries. To date, 500 wheelchairs have been distributed, helping hundreds of individuals regain greater freedom of movement and confidence.

Continuing this journey of empowerment, Mukti organised a Wheelchair Distribution for 100 beneficiaries, along with an Artificial Limb Distribution Programme, on August 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Mukti, No. 1, Station Road, Meenambakkam, Chennai.

The Artificial Limb Distribution Programme was generously supported by Shree SS Jain Sanskar Manch Mahila Shakha, Chennai, whose contribution has helped transform compassion into meaningful change.

The programme was held in the presence of Sri Vimalchand Ji Dhariwal, President, Founder & Managing Trustee, KIND.
