The Hyatt Regency,Chennai: ITM Business School held its 20th Convocation Ceremony on Sunday, 10th August, 2014 at The Hyatt Regency. A total of 63 PGDM and 12 PGDM-IB students were awarded degrees.
The function was successfully held in the esteemed presence of Dr. P.V. Ramana, Chairman, ITM Group of Institutions, declaring the presidential address. He threw light on the transition that took place in the business and economy since the invocation of the ITM Group in 1991 till date. He also stressed upon being “decisive leaders” of the nation and adhere to the three values- passion, hardwork and integrity in life.
The Chief guest, Dr. S. Balasubramanian, Chairman, City Union Bank, emphasized on keeping oneself abreast on technological advances to be successful in ones career.
The Guest of Honor, Shri. Jayaraman, Associate Vice President-HR, Kasturi & Sons Ltd.(The Hindu Group of Publications), Chennai, delivered a speech on the four stages of Career Management that an individual goes through on the onset of a career.
Prof. P.V.Jaikumar, Registrar graced the occasion with his presence and Prof. Lakshmi Mohan, Director, ITM Business School, Chennai wished the students best of their career and blessed the graduating batch.
